Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the events of the first game. The Isles are once again in turmoil when Empress Emily Kaldwin is suddenly dethroned by an otherworldly usurper, Delilah Copperspoon, who claims to be her aunt and the rightful heir. Players choose to play as either Emily Kaldwin or her father and Royal Protector, Corvo Attano. Forced to flee Dunwall, the chosen protagonist travels to the southern, coastal city of Karnaca to unravel the conspiracy, reclaim the throne, and confront Delilah and her allies. The game features large, multi-layered levels encouraging exploration and player choice, offering lethal or non-lethal approaches, and a deep system of supernatural powers, gadgets, and environmental interactions.
