Elden Ring is an expansive dark fantasy action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, with worldbuilding collaboration from George R. R. Martin. Set in the vast, cursed Lands Between, players take on the role of a Tarnished, an exile summoned back after the shattering of the Elden Ring and the subsequent scattering of its Great Runes. The Tarnished must traverse the breathtaking world, defeat demigod Shardbearers who claim a piece of the Ring, and ultimately seek to become the Elden Lord.
